A Quick and Casual TALLY WEiJL Look

Don’t get me wrong, I do love to dress up with a killer heel but on most days to be in flats with a casual cool look is right up my alley. On any given day I am running to different meetings or shoots at all different times. With this schedule, comfort is key whilst also trying to still look trendy as I go. Granted this look I put together with TALLY WEiJL is more casual than most, my day allowed for it and so I made the most of it.

I always start with a great base when styling a look and these cotton draw string shorts are the height of comfort for me. I loved them so much I got them in white too!

Nothing beats a slogan tee and what better slogan than UNICORN!

As the look is very monochromatic this bomber jacket added the perfect pop of colour for my look. I was torn between the royal blue and the soft grey version but I was shopping with my stylist and friend, @SarahAnnStyles and she said ‘BLUE HANDS DOWN!”

The slogan love came through again in these cute slip on plimsolls. I decided on the maroon shade for another little injection of colour that complemented the blue.

Just as the outfit was a quick put together so was my hair and make-up. (This is usually the case, I’m not one to fuss unless my make-up artist Morag Steyn is doing it for me!)

I decided to put my hair in a quick pony tail to complement the sport inspired look and spruced it up with a bright lip (MAC – Morange) and my Dior sunnies.

Quirky is something I’m good at. So when I spotted this cell-phone cover in Tally’s Mall of the South store I had to have it immediately! Life’s too short to be too serious… 😉
