I’ve always been a huge fan of this lady. She is talented, she is kind and above all she is authentic in everything she does. Which is why I do a little happy dance every time she announces a big milestone in her life. This time around she has joined the L’Oreal Paris familia in her role as brand advocate for their new Elvive Curl Nourishment product; its the 1st haircare range tailored to curly/Afro hair from the international cosmetic giant.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nomzamo to the L’Oreal Paris family”, said Marketa Havlik Liebenberg, General Manager, L’Oreal South Africa Consumer Products Division. “As South Africas media darling, Nomzamo is known for her dynamic, confident and playful spirit. She reflects the L’Oreal Paris brand values and we love how she celebrates her beautiful hair with fun and trendy hairstyles. She is a beautiful, inspiring and driven young woman who is very influential among young women, which makes her the perfect fit as brand advocate for our new Elvive Curl Nourishment launch.

Never too busy to answer a message I sent Nomzamo a good old congratulatory “what’s app” and asked her to send me a quick comment about her phenomenal achievement. In true jet setter style she was 37 000 feet somewhere above the US but still took the time out to send me a voice note:
“It’s really exciting! It’s an incredible partnership for me. It came at the right time in my career. I’ve always had a relationship with my hair, it’s always been an extension of myself and I truly believe in brands evolving and having inclusion in terms of the different curls, the different kink types that we have and of course adapting different products to suit our hair. So I’m excited to speak about the product, I’m excited to advocate for it and I’m excited for this partnership because it’s just amazing and I believe in it so much.”
#CurlPride @LorealHair brand advocate… "You never go natural, you return to it!" Thank you to all Media, family, friends and colleagues who came out to the press launch today. My sincere apologies for not being present, in the moment with you. And to everyone who has been sending their LOVE, NGIYABONGA… ngiyabonga! It is felt. It is received. #NubianPrincess
