I’ve always LOVED the Ocean’s film franchise. 11, 12 and 13 were fantastic. What isn’t to love? Great actors plus an action packed and fun script is bound to have you entertained. Which is why I jumped at the chance to collaborate with Warner Brothers to promote the new Ocean’s 8 movie.
And all I can say is VIVA LA FEMME!
Ocean’s 8 most definitely passes the Bechdel Test with a powerful cast of leading women who kick-ass in every department. And we all know the department I’m most interested in is that of the fashion variety.
When I saw the first glimpses of the fashion from the film my heart quite literally skipped a beat. With Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett at the helm and with fashionstas like Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter in tow the film is guaranteed to be a visual fashion feast. I mean, can we have a moment for this image:
The most well dressed criminals I’ve ever seen!
Because I was so inspired by the characters in the film and each of their fashion personalities we decided to bring together our own local girl gang and recreate the fashion from Ocean’s 8! Check out my favourite local bloggers and influencers inspired by each of these amazing characters above.
