I recently headed to Cresta Shopping Centre in Randburg with the aim of creating a list of Christmas gifts ranging in price. Cresta is looking amazing I might add with it’s brand new food and entertainment court as well as an amazing initiative running with the SOS Children’s Villages. If you make a donation of at least R50 (yes, let’s do more!) Cresta will gift a plush toy from the beautiful Magical Toy Tree (you must go see it!) to a child at one of the villages. A great cause so do join in.
Here come my top finds at Cresta for all pockets, wallets and tastes!
Who doesn’t love chocolate? My husband kept facing this poor Lindt Chocolate Bear INTO the fridge because he didn’t want to see his smiling face ð Available from the Lindt concept store in Cresta for R350. Plus there are a variety of other choccies to suit your pocket!
Just follow any blogger on Instagram and you’ll know that Banana leaves are IN! I fell in love with these Banana Leaf serving dishes at @Home with two sizes available at R289-00 and R389-00 respectively. These would look great on any Christmas table!
Now here’s a gift the whole family can enjoy! The little ones will enjoy making, freezing and eating these and the adults will enjoy the over 18 version if you add a little Gin… ð Available at @Home for R799-00.
My husband was lucky enough to be gifted a Nespresso machine for his 30th birthday and I can honestly say it’s one of the best gifts we’ve BOTH received! We use it every single day. You can buy a the Nespresso range at @Home and the sales ladies there informed me that this model is their best-seller at R2750-00. So sleek and stylish too.
December is for reading and I found these two great books at Exclusive Books. First, Amy Schumer’s hilarious autobiography “The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo”.
Local YouTube sensation Suzelle DIY has brought out a 2017 DIYary! It’s amazing! With pages for notes and appointments you’ll also find stickers and Suzelle-isms throughout. A great gift for DIY junkies and Suzelle fans alike. Available from Exclusive Books for R180-00.
This next discovery was a real find! With only 5 stores in SA (1 of which is in Cresta) Lush is all about eco-friendly beauty with it’s 100% vegetarian product and they don’t test on animals. There are a wide range of bath bombs and beauty products to suit all needs and budgets. Their bombs start R69-00 and for those who need a little help pre-packaged gifts are a great idea.
An indulgent gift would definitely be one from Lecreuset! With 15% off, this rainbow egg holder set jumped out at me. And it’s not necessarily something you’d buy for yourself. Available from Lecreuset in Cresta for R750-00.
