Neutral is Nice: Style Story

As I’ve grown older I have come to appreciate a neutral and simple palette which can be incredibly elegant in its simplicity. Don’t get me wrong, I will always love a little quirk, a bold print here and there but there is something to be said for the neutral fashion wardrobes of Victoria Beckham, Kim Kardashian and the likes who gravitate towards the neutrals, blacks and pastels.

Which is why I love this look style by makeup artist, model and stylist, Bianca Koyabe.

Bianca knows me well… She curated a look that plays with long and short, multiple textures and just a little bit of spunk to keep it very “me” in the form of the embellished shorts. My makeup artist, Morag Steyn, suggests a darker lip to compliment a lighter clothing palette so that you don’t look too washed out. A striking eye can also be an alternative.

Here’s a look you can easily emulate from your own wardrobe and scroll to the bottom for alternative ways of wearing and styling these pieces.
